No matter how nice we try to put things, there is no denying that life is a battle. Everyday is a struggle.
However, with every struggle is a blessing. We are blessed to be alive and given the chance to make changes everyday.
People say, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that.
Hi, My name is Nadrah and this is my story.
I'm a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a cousin, a friend, a wife and a mother but most of all, I will always be a little girl at heart.
This blog is about my life and how I try to live it to the fullest while keeping it well balanced.

Maybelline's Dream Make Up Base and Satin Foundation

Recently, Guardian Malaysia had a Cosmetic Offer where most of their cosmetic products are at 50% off. So, I decided to go on a drugstore make up haul. Haha!!! Ok, maybe it is not that much of a haul. I just bought myself an everyday alternative to my Fenty Beauty (Cause really, Fenty is quite pricy for me to wear everyday). There weren't that much of a choice as I went on the last day and most of the items are sold out. Bought myself a primer and foundation from Maybelline.
Maybelline's Dream One Day Perfect Dual Protection Lasting Base  (RM49.90)
Description on the Packaging: DREAM ONE DAY PERFECT BASE The soft and smooth base protects your skin not only from oiliness, but also from dryness. Sebum adsorbing formula covers pores, and prevents skin from unwanted shine and oiliness. Moisturizing formula keeps your skin fresh, and protects the finish look all day long. SPF 18+ PA++.
Maybelline's Dream Satin Skin in shade B2 (RP: RM51.79)
Description on the Bottle: Discover the skin of your dreams with the all new Dream Satin Skin Liquid Mousse foundation by Maybelline New York. . This formula never allows the skin to clog and makes it breathable at all times.Get satin-poreless perfection.
After discount, I spent a total of approximately RM50 for both items which really is quite ok for me. Really, being a working class mom who just started to build a family and career, budget is definitely one of the main concern. Whilst I can be very thrifty, I'm one of those person who still is very much concerned of my vanity. LOL! Oh well, I try my best to be more presentable.

With Dream 1 Day Lasting Base
Foundation on me and Maybelline's Age Rewind Under Eye Concealer
Blended! To be honest, weight-wise it really doesn't feel as if I have anything on.
Finish with a bit of Eye Liner, Blusher and Lip Color
At 10am while waiting for my conference to start..... Still very much Fresh Faced!
Around 2pm, the make up was still very much there. It only shifted a lil but still much better than others I tried.

So far, am loving it! Light weight and natural...It doesn't have this cakey finishing that cracks on your skin which is very important to me since I have sensitive and combination skin. My conclusion is, this is Definitely a Steal!

Great Hair Day

Despite all of the bright and sunny things about pregnancy, there are a few things that would prolly need adjustments. One of the biggest part of it is adjusting to the changes of my body. Don't get me wrong. I love having a baby. In fact, i'm very excited about our Chicarito. However, that does not change the fact that i'm losing my waist line, breaking out and too tired to spend that extra 15minutes to groom myself into a presentable form. I look at so many women who made it through and wonder how they managed. Owh, to add on to it, due to the bleeding i had during the first trimester, i can't exercise during pregnancy. Everyday, i will wake up, go to work with the utmost messy and wet hair, looking fatigue, work, go home, prepare dinner, clean the house, sleep and the routine goes on everyday. Having a construction right next to your house really does not help as it will make your house extremely dusty every single day. Hence, the cleaning requirement. As a result, i sometimes look at the mirror feeling rather depressed with the way i look. If only I could just spend a little bit more to pamper myself with a saloon treatment finished hair every once awhile. Last 2 weeks i had to bid farewell to my decade old hairdryer as it was giving those electric sparks. Guess what I did this week? I went in a little shopping spree at Hair Depot. Hihi... As a result, hello great hair day! Thanks to a great new hair dryer, Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree hair and scalp treatment, Paul Mitchell's extra body daily boost, Lakme's deep hair treatment and this hair brush i got from Shins that is. I hope i can keep up with the routine. Checking out Fara Qippy, Delima, Yasmin J Soh and Vivy Proudduck's pictures for motivation. I know Fara Qippy and Delima personally and think that they are super mommies for being able to juggle career life, being a mom and looking awesome all at once. Wish me luck!

Clean, Radiant, Feminine, Modern and Classic

Doesn't she look absolutely stunningly beautiful? On top of her natural beauty, she has a team to help her get this look. Since I've been going on a make up spree to get TiraSuperstar and SriNurHani's birthday present, I googled to find out how to get this look. Guess What? I found one of the best online Make Up bible a girl can find. The website is called make up for life! It's my new best friend when it comes to make up. However, sad to say, I barely wear any (especially since I've been battling acne since the age of 16 and sensitive skin since FOREVER!). Maybe it'll be an inspiration for special occasions. For now, I'll focus on trying my best to have a clear complexion and admire Kim Kardashian's wedding look.
