No matter how nice we try to put things, there is no denying that life is a battle. Everyday is a struggle.
However, with every struggle is a blessing. We are blessed to be alive and given the chance to make changes everyday.
People say, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that.
Hi, My name is Nadrah and this is my story.
I'm a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a cousin, a friend, a wife and a mother but most of all, I will always be a little girl at heart.
This blog is about my life and how I try to live it to the fullest while keeping it well balanced.

First Day at Work, 2014

It's the first day of work this year, feeling a little bit motivated to be a better person, I came to work with my organizer and wearing a little bit of make up for a more matured and serious look.
The never ending mails and list of things to do that keeps on growing...

Selfie just to prove that I am wearing make up
Say Hello to a more serious me....

8.30am.... Still serious...

8.40am.... Serious still...

8.45am.... Trying to be serious...

8.46am.... Still trying my best to be serious...

Gorjes right?
Or maybe not! Hahaha!

Sigh! Cost of living is increasing.. Workload is increasing.. Everything is increasing this year except for the salary.. I'ld say in the end of the day, we are all trying our best to make our ends meet. Everyone is very frustrated with what is going on at work. I am trying my best to not let the negativity affect my performance. Lets hope that I will remain optimistic throughout the year and also hope for a better side income to help out.

Christmas Came Early!

HP is undergoing a huge revamp stage in order to repair the damages done. Regardless what you read on Meg Whitman, our CEO, who recently had a major raise of salary from 1usd a month to 1.5 million USD, things are not going on that well for us employees wage-wise. However, that did not stop my fellow colleagues Sashi, Kevin and Eddy who were very determined to keep everyone motivated. They organized a "Christmas and New Year" celebration within our account to keep the team spirit alive especially after winning the blue star award.

Here are some pictures from our little event:

Bowling

The division I'm working in organized a bowling tournament. I've always been a very good bowler. Very good at bowling the ball right into the putter. :p Which was why I wasn't really keen to join the tournament. Unfortunately, my department did not have enough participants. My colleague, Hakim assured me that everyone in the team are also bad at bowling. So, I decided to join the team. They initially named it "Team Longkang". But then, when they had the first training, most of them can actually bowl! Chiaki, a Japanese colleague of mine has been scoring spares and Pasu has been scoring strikes! Hakim got super excited and practiced at least once a week. Believe me when I say that I was the worst bowler in the team. Many tried to help me but their attempts failed. Then, hubster and in-laws went bowling with me. This time around it was a little fruitful. I can now bowl the ball straight. The only thing is that my ball was really slow. Well, at least I get to hit some pins right? LOL! Of course we didn't make it to the qualifying round but I would say we played quite well (considering that there are a few teams which are worse than us). Also, my ball didn't go in the putter that often. Woohoo!!! :p

Lamb+Coffee= BIG NO NO!

Yesterday, we had a small team gathering at SABA Restaurant, Cyberjaya where the food is known to be "OhSuMM"!! We order a mixture of a few dishes so that we can try eat of them. My recommendation there would be the Chicken Kabsah and the Hanith Lamb. We were all very satisfied with the food but were very much unhappy with the cost of the beverages there.A cold Milo will cost you RM4. That is the same price as their flavored Malt drink. Also, their juices were pretty much awful. If you are planning to so there, the best choice would either be to order a glass of plain water/mineral water or one of those non-alcoholic flavored malt drinks.

Our Table
There were about 19 of us and that's the other table. Everyone were pretty much in their raya mood that our Japanese, Korean and Chinese friends were wearing Baju Kurung. Talk about Diversity.
Outside of the Restaurant
After our meal, we were pretty much sleepy and decided to go on our very first trip to the Starbucks Drive-Thru.
By the way, they only place the menu where you are going to make your order. So if you are planning to take your time, heck, don't ever go to the drive-thru. You'll be wasting other people's time waiting for you to make your decision.

My hot Caramel Machiatto (Venti).
You would think that I prolly had a great time considering I had such a great time considering that I stuffed my face and made my tummy very happy. Plus, I had Starbucks after. My tummy should be happy, right? Not! Sad to say, it got too overwhelmed and I learned that Lamb+Coffee is a wrong combination. (Least, it doesn't work for me). I had migraine and tummy ache after till this morning. Tsk tsk tsk!

Ironically, I could still eat chicken rice that night. Uptown's chicken rice is to die for! :p *Feeling a tad bit guilty for eating too much*. What? A girl's got to eat ok!

Anyway, moral of the day, I must never ever drink coffee after having lamb.
