InsyaAllah... in 3 months to come, I'll be heading down the aisle.. Sure, it's exciting but it is also terrifying at the same time. As far as I hate to admit it, it was a roller coaster ride with lots of bumps. Some days you're up, some days you are down. There are those happy times and there are those heartbreaking times. Misconception, misunderstanding, misinterpretations.. You name it and we've got it. At times, I'd think that it's embarrassing and ridiculous. But then again, I wouldn't stop there. It's a part of growing up. If we are too shy or proud to admit our mistakes, we'd very much be left out in the dark and remain well.....stupid! What I learnt through the journey is that love is more than just 2 individuals being together when they are happy. It is also about accepting each other especially when they are at their worst and help them make the best of themselves. I also learnt that those who doesn't make any mistake, are those who very much don't do anything at all.

Being engaged is not easy. In Islam, a couple is engaged when the guy is ready for marriage, proposed to the woman of his choice and the woman accepts. It is believed that during this period, Allah SWT will give us a lot of challenges to prepare ourselves for the new stage of life which happens to be marriage. Alhamdulillah.. So far, Allah SWT has given me the strength to face the challenges. Even if there are those who won't be happy with our union, I am blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people. Blessed, i am truly blessed.

In 3 months, I will add wife to my roles and responsibility as an individual in this world. I pray that everything will be smooth sailing regardless the challenges that we may face. Please pray for us too..
