No matter how nice we try to put things, there is no denying that life is a battle. Everyday is a struggle.
However, with every struggle is a blessing. We are blessed to be alive and given the chance to make changes everyday.
People say, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that.
Hi, My name is Nadrah and this is my story.
I'm a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a cousin, a friend, a wife and a mother but most of all, I will always be a little girl at heart.
This blog is about my life and how I try to live it to the fullest while keeping it well balanced.

Slowly but Surely

My journey to a so called healthier lifestyle was put on hold in order to accommodate my hectic lifestyle juggling roles as a wife, mother, student, employee and advisor. It is true what Melissa said yesterday that there isn't such thing as a balanced lifestyle. Though it may seem easy for me, even with help and support by my family and in laws, i was really struggling and sacrificed a lot of my sleep time.
Despite thinking that I'll get back into the program after my finals, my plans were held back because i fell and not only sprained my ankle but i tore my muscle too. Along with the injury, i'm getting a very bad back pain on my lower right. It was prolly because I was trying doing almost everything using the right side of my body. To make things worse, i fell again on the same leg last Thursday night!
Not being able to work out makes me a lil bit upset. But without wasting anymore time, since the swelling has subsided (should have worn a guard earlier if I had known it would help a lot on the swelling), I decided to start with swimming since it is the lightest form of exercises. My friend, Mash came over as a form of motivation. We swam a little and chatted more. Only managed to do 5 laps but hey, at least it is something! Lets hope that i can continue with something tomorrow. Slowly but surely *wink*
