No matter how nice we try to put things, there is no denying that life is a battle. Everyday is a struggle.
However, with every struggle is a blessing. We are blessed to be alive and given the chance to make changes everyday.
People say, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that.
Hi, My name is Nadrah and this is my story.
I'm a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a cousin, a friend, a wife and a mother but most of all, I will always be a little girl at heart.
This blog is about my life and how I try to live it to the fullest while keeping it well balanced.

Saree Shopping at Little India, Klang

My bestie, Tirah and I were on a Saree hunt for a bachelorette party. Lucky for us, we had my colleague, Sashi who was kind enough to be our tour guide in Little India, Klang. So last Saturday, we took a drive to Klang's Little India. It was our first trip there. We totally relied on Tirah's GPS for directions. Amazingly, one you are there, you will really feel as if you are in an Indian community. You know how people have this idea that they wouldn't like to go to India because the place is dusty and dirty? Little India is the place to go. At 8.45 am, they were all cleaning their shops (practically washing the floor). The shops there were already in business at 9am. There were a lot of selections there. The sarees on the display can go as high as RM5k. They were all pretty. We couldn't make up our mind on where to head first. Sashi suggested that we go to Chennai Palace because the designs are more exclusive, good quality at the reasonable price. Through enough, there were a lot of selections. They narrowed down 3 sarees for me to try on. Apparently, there are different ways of tying the sarees. I got my saree at the price of RM250 and Tirah got herself a lengha at the price of RM100. I learned quite a few things from Sashi that day.

Here's a picture of Sashi in Saree!

Saree shopping 101:
1) Do not straight away judge a saree and decide that it's not suitable for you. Get the salesperson tp try it on you first then only judge.
2) Saree is not necessarily sexy. It actually depends on the way you tie it. Honestly, I think that saree is rather elegant.
3) There are so many ways of tying a saree. It takes time to learn but once you know the tricks, 1 saree can give you so many different kind of looks. (You can go to so many events with the same saree and still look different).
4) The top and inner skirt are sold separately but at a very affordable price.
5) Sometimes, it is best to have the top tailored for a better fit.

Anyway, here are some pictures:

p/s: I was sick on that day. Hence, the swollen face. But I couldn't say No to shopping. LOL!

Continuation of the Scammer

A few years back, my cousin, Erina who rarely message me on Y! Messenger, suddenly messaged me and had a sort of patterned like response, i knew that it was some sort of bot. I read somewhere that these bots affects those who doesnt change their password regularly. So, when i recently got the Y! Messenger message about Iza, i thought it was just some regular bot to scam. However, it didn't stop there. It continued on to Iza's twitter account. Everyone in her twitter account was mentioned (including me). Luckily she was reacheable. Necessary actions will be taken. Lets pray that we will all be protected from all these cyber crimes.

The Hunger Games

With all the hype and reviews, my fiance and I decided to watch "The Hunger Games". Don't get me wrong. It's not like the movie didn't appeal to us. It's just that we've been really busy with the preparation and weddings that we barely have the time. Since today's a public holiday, we squeeze a few hours for the movie. Even after being released last month, it is still getting a lot of viewers. We bought our tickets last night and could only get a seat at the 4th row. With all the chores to do, we arrived just in time for the movie and didn't manage to buy anything. It was pretty upsetting considering how hungry we were. We didn't want to miss any part of the movie so we just went to the cinema hall with growling tummies. About 15minutes through the movie, the person next to me arrived. To make it interesting, he came with all sorts of food. And the smell was owh so tempting. It was warm and delicious (could tell from the smell). Both my fiance and I were both trying our best to stay calm. Isnt it ironic how we were watching the hunger games with the hungriest tummy and the stranger next to us was eating non-stop?!! LoL!

Again by Bruno Mars ft Natasha Bedingfield

 Lyrics:

Hands over my head thinking "what else could go wrong"?
Wouldve stayed in bed, how can a day be so long?
Never believed that things happen for a reason
But how this turned out, you moved all my doubts, So believe
That for you I'll do it all over again
Do it all over again
All I went through, led me to you
So I'd do it all over again
For you

I missed the first train, stood out in the rain, all day
Little did I know
When I caught the next train, there you were to sweep me away
Guess thats what I've waited for
Never believed that things happened for a reason
But how this turned out, you moved all my doubts, So believe
That for you I'd do it all over again
Do it all over again
All I went through, led me to you
So I'd do it all over again

(Ohh) Who ever thought a day gone so wrong, would turn out so lovely?
Im so glad I found you
Even though the day went so wrong, I wouldnt change a thing (yeah, yeah, oh I'd do it)
I'd do it all over again
Do it all over again
All I went through, led me to you
So I'd do it all over again (yeah, yeah ohhh)
I'd do it all over again (I'd do it all over, I'd do it all over)
Do it all over again (I'd do it all over for you, for you)
all I went through, led me to you (all I went through, it led me to you)
so Id do it all over again (over again)

Who ever thought a day gone so wrong, could turn out so lovely ohh
Who ever thought a day gone so wrong, could turn out so lovely

Wake up and smell the coffee..

You'ld like to think that it doesn't matter what you do. What matters is why you do it. Well, that is not the way it goes in reality. People don't care why you do things. They think what they want. If it opposes you, well, no one really cares. People only think about themselves. Self awareness is the only thing one can have to keep him/herself sane.
