No matter how nice we try to put things, there is no denying that life is a battle. Everyday is a struggle.
However, with every struggle is a blessing. We are blessed to be alive and given the chance to make changes everyday.
People say, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that.
Hi, My name is Nadrah and this is my story.
I'm a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a cousin, a friend, a wife and a mother but most of all, I will always be a little girl at heart.
This blog is about my life and how I try to live it to the fullest while keeping it well balanced.

MTV Class at Sole to Soul Dance Studio on Wednesdays 9.30pm-10.30pm

Have you ever wanted to dance just like Ne-Yo did in the video above? Here is the chance for you to learn how.
But before that, let me share a little introduction:
Last year, Hubster Ezry Ibrahim performed a portion of Ne-Yo's One In A Million at our Wedding Reception (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3C-PRL3igvM).
Even with restricted movement due to such a fitting pair of pants, he pulled it off with flying colors. This time around, for his MTV class (a class that teaches you how to dance like in the music video), he will be teaching his students how to dance to this song. However, there will be more steps and a little bit more challenging than what was performed during our wedding. If you are up for a little challenge and some fun, try out his class at Sole to Soul Dance Studio (http://soletosouldance.blogspot.com/) every Wednesday 9.30-10.30pm. Not only you will get the chance to dance like in the video, you will also get the chance to burn that extra calories gained during Hari Raya! LOL!

A post long due... Dedicated to my Breakfast Buddy... Sri Nur Hani!

This is definitely an overdue post. I've saved a draft in my phone but for some reason it wouldn't get uploaded. So, in order to prevent any further delays, I'm writing this post now. ;)

If you have been following my blog, you would have known that Sri Nur Hani a.k.a. SriHunny is one of the closest person in my circle. We've known each other since we were in Standard 3 when we were classmates at Sekolah Kebangsaan Taman Tun Dr Ismail 2. We were always the ones standing in front during assembly since we're pretty much the shortest in class. During our secondary school days, we went separate ways when my mother decided to send me off to another school. I guess our friendship was meant to go further when we met during orientation at Multimedia University. Coming from the same neighborhood, Although we took different courses, we still hung out outside of classes and we were even housemates for almost 2 years. After that, she started accompanying me to go for walks at the park or hike up Bukit Kiara hill. Our weekend routine was followed with a breakfast sessions. :p (After burning up all the calories, for sure we have you make up for all the losses kan? LOL!). Once awhile, we would go out for some all girls dining. She's one of the most soft spoken person I've ever known with the utmost respectable level of patience.

21st June 2013 marks an important date for SriHunny. After years of courtship, Abdullah Hamid a.k.a. Dol made his solemnization vow to wed SriHunny that night. Alhamdulillah everything went smoothly.
Us with the Bride on the 21st June 2013.
It was so unfortunate that I had a severe case of food poisoning that I was unable to attend her wedding reception. Judging from the pictures, both Dol and SriHunny looked awesome at the reception. If you are wondering who did her make up that day, it was none other than Joanne Yeoh who did mine for my engagement and wedding reception. We met the next day at Secret Recipe Taman Tun for some tea where I passed their wedding gift which I shared with Hubster, Tira and Dayana. Hope it will be useful to them when they move in to their new crib in Johor next month.

Dol and Sri, I pray for your happiness and may Allah SWT bless your marriage with lots of love. Take good care of each other ok! XoXo!

Something to Share

There are people who may not appear to be the most religious but their struggle to gain the love of their Maker is far greater than those who may appear to be very religious.

Morale: Don't judge a book by it's cover... You don't know what is happening behind closed doors.

Lil Chica in 4D

Last week, we went to see Dr Idora of Pantai Medical Center to replace Dr Delaila as my Gynea. We heard so many good things about her and also the drawbacks of going to see her considering that she has a lot of patients (cases when nurse s do a lot of vaginal checks and accidentally pops the water bag). However, we were very keen in finding a female gynae. Dr Idora being a muslim was also a plus point for us. We are planning to integrate a little hypnobirthing technique with our Islamic background. During our first visit, she took several pictures of Lil Chica in 4d. Hubster got super excited that Chica looks a lot like him. "I see myself in the monitor," he said proudly. Me on the other hand, was a little down. Other than our parents, I showed the picture to only 2 other important people in my life and they are Ira and Hana. To them i expressed my disappointment. Hana assured me that the baby will be beautiful no matter whose traits she has. Hubster today asked me whether I'm disappointed that Lil Chica will not look as good nor will she have a mixed feature following his traits. Well, they got it all wrong. It is not about that. Appearance is not a question. I mean, when my MIL was interviewed on Astro Awani, Hubster's suave look immediately caught the attention of the tv host. It is more of about what's there of me that's there. It is natural for girls to be a daddy's girl. Yes, mothers are important for them but only because they need their mothers. Little girls want/adore their fathers. She has her daddy's traits and her daddy is the favorite. What's there left for me? A little paranoid don't you think? A few more weeks to go... We'll see how it turn out.. *Praying for the best*
