No matter how nice we try to put things, there is no denying that life is a battle. Everyday is a struggle.
However, with every struggle is a blessing. We are blessed to be alive and given the chance to make changes everyday.
People say, “live your life to the fullest”; I am here to do just that.
Hi, My name is Nadrah and this is my story.
I'm a daughter, a sister, a granddaughter, a cousin, a friend, a wife and a mother but most of all, I will always be a little girl at heart.
This blog is about my life and how I try to live it to the fullest while keeping it well balanced.

Zara's First Passport

Zara just had her passport done today! Big yeay! Ok, lets go to Singapore! *Hubster practically ignored me* Well, there's no harm in dreaming, right? Haha! We've so many trips planned out this year just to attend weddings. Heading to Kuching in March, Miri and Brunei in April and Australia in November! Maybe another short trip to Singapore in May wouldn't hurt. Hmmmmm *calculating the costs considering that we're starting our Wayne Manor Project soon* .. Haha!!!   If you are planning to make a passport for your kid, I would really recommend going to Hartamas. Since there aren't many people there and there's a priority for children under 2, we had ours settled in no time. Zara is just 5 months and all ready to be a jet setter! Now, all I need to get is one of those cute Hello Kitty luggage bag for her... Hihi!

One of the Sweetest Bride Entrance

Stuck Up?

Some would say that I am Stuck Up. Well, yes, there are times when I don't say as much as others nor do I easily give compliments. No, I'm not the kind of person who would keep on complimenting nor entertain a person just because that person is somebody or I might benefit from the relationship. I'm only kind if I want to. No, I am not Stuck Up. I just don't Suck Up. 😊

Happy Chinese New Year!!!

Born in a multi-racial country, it is not a surprise that we have the tendency to celebrate every single celebration there is. As a result, there is always something exciting to look forward to. This time around, we're going oriental to celebrate Chinese New Year. Kalau dah ada darah cina tu, maka it will automatically be in our culture. (FYI, my late grandmother is a chinese adopted by a malay family).  Although I do not know how to speak chinese, I was raised with the tradition of eating Yee Sang, Family Gathering and all that stuff during the new year celebration.

This year, we are welcoming the year of the Wood Horse!

Like a typical Chinese, I went over the fengshui site to check out my horoscope. (Chillax People! I know my part as a muslim. However, reading all this is just for fun!). Here is what it says....

OVERALL: The Wood Horse energy of 2014 is considered to be very good for the Ox. There will be success in career, but care should be taken not to take on too many professional responsibilities. The areas of wealth/money, as well as love relationships are also better than last year. Health-wise, care should be taken, especially while traveling.

WEALTH & CAREER: Work with feng shui cures for career success, as well as the wealth & money cures that most appeal to you.

LOVE: 2014 is a better year for love energy in your life, but there are still challenges. Working on trust and openness issues seems to be an on-going issue with Ox people, and 2014 will give you plenty of opportunities to do just that! Symbols of protection and strength energy that come in pairs, such as the Chi Lin or the Fu Dogs, can help you this year. And, of course, a good feng shui bedroom is a must!

HEALTH: Your health might go through many ups and downs this year, which makes it important to apply specific feng shui health tips in your home and office. Be mindful about monitoring your energy levels and create a home environment that is nurturing of your birth feng shui element. The Wu Lou feng shui symbol is highly recommended to Ox people in 2014, be especially as a personal amulet that you can keep with you.

PERSONAL FENG SHUI: In 2014 the focus is to strengthen the energy of calm and protection around you, which can be helped by wearing specific feng shui crystals in jewelry or as feng shui amulets. Symbols such as Pi Yao and Wu Lou (mentioned above), or your own Chinese zodiac sign can be easily incorporated in items such as a bracelet, a key chain or a pendant.

Stay open and be comfortable with trusting others, take good care of your health and you might enjoy a beautiful 2014 full of opportunities!

Looks like a good year for Me! Woohoo!!!!! Haha!!!!

A glimpse of me in Cheongsam during CNY Celebration in the Office.
So my Fortune Cookie says... "Change your thoughts and you change the world"... Meh! A lil too general, right? Hahaha!!!!!

Happy Chinese New Year!! Wishing everyone good health and prosperity!
